Powdered herb

Dried cleavers herb does not need to be specially prepared. Dried herb from the plant is best suited for external use – for use in the case of wounds, burns or ulcers. It is enough to cover the sick part of the body with herb and leave it (the longer the better). In order for the dried Cleavers herb to stick better to the skin (so it work better), you can mix it with an oily base, e.g. petroleum jelly, and only then apply it to the body.

Brew

Recommended especially in general exhaustion of the body – it helps to regenerate strength and gives energy to act in moments of fatigue and weakness.
Use 2 heaped tablespoons of dried herb, pour 1 cup (approx. 200 ml) of boiling water and leave to infuse (covered). After 20-30 minutes, it is necessary to strain and if the drink has cooled, then it is ready to drink. Drink a minimum of 3 times a day for half a glass of liquid.

Decoction

Cleavers herb in the form of a decoction is used in the treatment of various types of skin ailments. You can use it as a herbal healing bath infusion or apply a cotton pad or gauze pad soaked in it to a sick place.

To make a decoction, you need to pour 2 teaspoons of herb into a pot, pour 1 cup of water, put on a burner and bring to a boil. Cook the mixture over low heat for about 6-8 minutes, then leave from the heat and leave for about 5 minutes under cover. The decoction can be used depending on the needs – externally or drink.
