Echinacea Root (Lat. Echinacea Purpurea Moench) comes from the prairies of North America. Its health properties are Indian health, using its properties as a universal medicine. Echinacea gives treatment to heal pain as well as to heal burned skin. The Indians also used it to treat colds, and even gonorrhea and measles. Dosage and how to use
Brew:
Pour 1 teaspoon of herb with a glass of boiling water and leave it for 10-15 minutes, covered.
Tinctures:
100 g of Echinacea herb
250 ml of 40% vodka.
Pour the Echinacea herb into a dark glass dish. Pour with alcohol. Close it tightly and put it in a warm, dark place for two weeks. Shake the contents daily. Then decant the tincture and squeeze the remaining sediment through the gauze, squeezing it lightly.
Making the tincture yourself is very economical compared to buying ready-made preparations available in pharmacies. From the above recipe, we obtain an amount sufficient for a full treatment for the whole family.
Store the tincture in a dark, cool place. Natural sediment may form at the bottom. It will retain its health benefits for at least a year. Prophylactically take ½ teaspoon 2 times a day for 10 days, and then take a 7-day break. Repeat the treatment 3 times. We use half the dose for children over 7 years of age. We serve it in a small amount of juice or water.
Side effects
