Aronia Fruit (lat. Aronia Melanocarpa) from the rose family, a species of fruit shrub, an ornamental and medicinal plant. Aronia fruits are berries with an aromatic flesh, tart, not too sweet taste, rich in antioxidants. The shrub was discovered about 300 years ago, it is native to the northeastern coast of North America. In the 19th century, it was cultivated in Russia as an ornamental plant, in botanical gardens. Currently, 15 varieties of the berry are known. It is a valuable herbal raw material. Aronia berries contain a large amount of natural plant dyes, phenolic acids, tannins, mixtures of carbohydrates, vitamins: B1, B2, C, E, A, B6, PP, and minerals: phosphorus, magnesium, iron, copper, manganese, calcium, potassium, iodine, boron and cobalt, trace elements: iodine, molybdenum.
Infusion for spring fatigue, lack of vitamins
On 20g of dried aronia fruits pour 200ml of boiling water, and brew covered. Drain. Drink 100ml 3-4 times a day.
Decoction
Pour 20g of dried aronia berries in a pot with a glass of water, cover, bring to a boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Set aside for 20 minutes to infuse. Strain the decoction, squeeze the juice out of the berries with a spoon. Drink 50ml no more than 4 times a day.
Tea for weakness after surgery (injuries, broken bones)
Pour 0.5l of boiling water over a tablespoon of dried aronia berries, and leave it to infuse for 10-15 minutes. Drink the warm infusion after straining.
