Burdock Root (lat. Arctium Lappa) it has been used in natural medicine for centuries. Is a plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. Known primarily for flowers that stuck to clothing. In China, the burdock is known as "niubang" and in Japan as "gobo". Recently, on the wave of natural cosmetics fashion, burdock has returned as an ingredient in many cosmetic preparations, especially those intended for skin and hair care. Dosage and how to use
Decoction
Put 2-3 tablespoons of crushed root into a small pot, pour 2 cups of warm water over it and heat to a boil. Cook slowly, covered for 3 minutes. Set aside for 15 minutes and strain. Drink 1/3 or 1/2 cups 2-3 times a day after. The same decoction can be used externally for compresses and washes in seborrhea and other skin diseases.

Contraindications
The burdock is a very safe plant. However, it is not recommended for pregnant women as it may increase uterine function in high doses. Pregnant women should always be careful about herbal preparations and consult their doctor beforehand.
