Scullcap Root (lat. Scutellaria Baicalensis) is commonly found in northern China, Mongolia, Japan and eastern Siberia. It is a perennial plant, and the most valuable part of it from the point of view of pharmacotherapy is the root. Scullcap reaches up to 60 cm in height. Its flowers are very characteristic, they have a blue or blue-violet color, which is due to valuable flavones. Due to their structure, they are sometimes referred to as the 'lion's mouth'. For generations, Eastern medicine has used scullcap root to treat many conditions.

Application
- Supports the treatment of asthma, allergies and inflammation of the digestive system. The substances present in the plant stimulate the immune system;

Dosage and how to use
Prophylactic infusion:
Pour 300ml of water over 1 tablespoon of root and infuse for 5 minutes.
Healing infusion:
2 teaspoons of root pour 200ml of boiling water. Brew for 10 minutes, drink it in three portions a day.

Due to the lack of tests, it should not be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
