Hawthorn Fruit (lat. Cratageus) is a very popular and known primarily as a medicinal plant. It's found in parks, gardens, on the edges of forests. The fruits are harvested in late autumn when they are ripe but still firm. They cannot be rotten or overripe, as they then lose their healing properties. Hawthorn fruits are a rich source of minerals and other compounds, so they are widely used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.
